Recently California’s legislature voted on making it legal for a ‘right to die’ choice be made. And then a week later, they decide to raise the smoking age to 21…CHADMAN and RANDY have a few thoughts on this. In short, it is NOT the government’s decision to do any of that. A person should have the right to smoke until they get cancer and then choose to die before the cancer sets in and makes them feel miserable. Or…not. Either way, it’s the person’s choice. Not the state’s. And MOST definately not a religious sect or church’s decision.
On Monday CHADMAN lost a friend of 26 years years. NO. His friend did NOT die from addiction or an overdose. However, this recent passing had made CHADMAN feel obligated to discuss his personal alcohol addiction he is overcoming, and the way he has seen it in other people close to him. The conversation goes into death and how in 2016, many people in America and technologically advanced countries deal with death in new ways through social media and our hand held devices. Hopefully by the end of this show, some of you will appreciate the loved ones in your life just a little bit more. And if you have a loved one battling some form of addiction, you can reach out to them.
